I will be starting the P90X program on Monday, 10/29-07 & hopefully, everyday I'll be posting my progress. Please, feel free to comment, especially if you've done P90x or are going through it too! I'd love to hear about any "tips & tricks" that might make this P90X journey a little easier! :)

I just went running with my girlfriend in Farmers Branch at Brookhaven College. The running trail there was great. Are there any places like that in the Arlington, Grand Prairie area?

Get yourself into trail running and you will discover the most suprising element of this sport: peace.

Trail running has never been hotter. In the past 10 years there has been significant growth in the number of events for athletes, trails are opening specifically for runners and gear is being tailored towards the avid or recreational trail runner.

Why trail running you may ask? It is quite simple. Trails offer serenity and peace that you often can't find anywhere else. But you still need to be prepared so here are a few tips.

Trail Tune Up

Getting into train running is similair to starting a regular running program. Start by simply alternating between a hiking and running. At first you may spend more time hiking but as your body gets stronger you will be able to gradually decrease the amount of time you hike and increase your running time.
