Weight
Day #3
Made it to day #3... and I decided to re-weigh myself and re-measure myself. I'm going to do this after every weight training workout (every other day, and skip on Sunday). I know I'd probably be better off doing this once a week... but this will give me a closer idea of what's going on. My body measurements have actually gone down slightly in just two days - though some of this can easily be accounted for as water retention and bloating, I suspect. But - given a month of measurements - if the numbers keep decreasing, even if by fractions - I'll know I'm making progress!
First day
Joining gimme 20. Sent invite to my friend John. He is going to lose 83 pounds, 195 is both of our target weights.
We are also doing the Nike Plus running .... I am going to start walking first.

recommitting
A few weeks ago I decided I was going to actually commit to losing weight - 10 pounds in 3 months. I was going to be 110 by Thanksgiving (I'm short, so no worries, still within healthy range for me). I've always been thin, but I enjoy working out and I would like it to show a little more and like all women, I have trouble spots on my body that could spare a few pounds. I went for it for about a week before giving up. It's hard to stay motivated when you don't have weight that you actually HAVE to lose. Since then, I've actually gained weight!
Starting My New Health Plan
So I have finally decided to wage war against the my shitty healthy.
I have only lost 60 pounds in the last 5 months and i still feel like shit.
So my new goal is to lose 100 pounds by Oct 5th 2007.
My ultimate goal is to control my high blood pressure, blood sugar and slim down to the way I was before my health became a monster.
I will try to keep an update of what I am doing, how I am feeling and any picture updates as I go through the changes. It is a hard process trying to commit to your own health when you feel like you have nothing left and shouldn't care.
My Schedual is this:
Future Yoga Master
This is the unavoidable First Blog Entry. I want to lose about 36 pounds before October 13, 2007, when I will be getting married. There's a tummy, a chin, and two thighs I want to seriously lose some flab on before then! Since I struggle with stress and depression, I've decided to pursue this goal by developing a consistent and challenging Yoga routine for myself. I'm starting with the "Yoga Now" DVD set with Rodney Yee and Mariel Hemingway, and my daily routine with these DVDs is this:
- Morning: 10 Minute A.M. Energizer
- Day: 30 or 50 Minute Core Workout
- Evening: 10 Minute P.M. Destressor
