So, we made it a point this week to get out on Monday and Tuesday - take Wednesday as a light day - and finish on Thursday and Friday. So far so good! We have been running 2 miles each of those mornings and taking the afternoons to get out with the dog (although he has been running, too) or get on the bikes for a few miles.

I have felt great. Not only is it nice to get your workout done early but the temp outside is better and you get a nice early jumpstart to your day! I have not been as tired and finally do not feel that I have to eat the entire day!

November in NY means the Marathon is right around the corner. November 4th to be exact. 26.4 miles are not easy to come by so here are the steps you need to take to go from weekend warrior to Marathon Maven. Please consult your doctor, or better yet see at least two.

1. Follow through. It is no secret that people often join a gym an go three times. When it comes to running a marathon get others to help keep you going.

That was kinda dorky.. I just did a 30min jog in my kitchen with my iPod on. Indoors. In the kitchen. The infant bunnies are in my regular workout space and I didn't want to upset them... Wasn't so bad, just kinda nerdy, bouncing in front of the fridge..

When I got home from work today, I was so tired! I was passing out behind the wheel on my way home.... ah!

I whined for a little while about being hungry, but I felt fat, and I was tired, but I didn't want to go to sleep cause it was only 6:00. Then, I said, I have to get my ass up and go outside on this lovely, lovely afternoon. I went straight to my room and put on my exercise gear. I jogged for about 5 minutes, then my left knee (which I believe is more affected by last year's fall than I originally anticipated) started killing me again! I walked to keep my my pace, felt better, and then jogged again. But, my knee flared up soon after.
